Holiday lights

 These are some pictures that I took of my Christmas tree. Most of them didn't turn out, I didn't realize how hard it would be.

Photo Manipulation

 

Title: a new sky

Location: Albuquerque New Mexico LDS Temple 

Description: This is a picture that uses something that was cut out of one picture and put into another. I used a picture of the sky I had taken and put it into the picture of the temple. I did my best to make this picture look as real as I could, but that was a little difficult because the lighting in both pictures are different. There is a before and an after of the picture.

Description: This is a picture that uses photoshop to make the picture look "to good to be true." This picture looks more vibrant than it normally would. There is a before and an after of the picture.

Candid Photos

Title: Playing outside

Location: My backyard

Description: This an example of a candid photo. I took this picture of my niece when she was playing outside in the rain. She knew I was taking pictures of her, but she was just playing like normal, so this isn't the most candid picture.

Location: A park by where I live

Description:  This is a picture I took of a little boy I babysit when we were at the park playing.This is a candid photo because it isn't staged, and he wasn't completely aware that I was taking the picture.

Description: This is a  candid photo of my dog Napoleon. I just took this picture of him when he was laying outside on our fake grass.

Still Life and Movement

Description: This picture demonstrates movement. It took of practicing to get one with good lighting, but wasn't too blurry.

Description: This picture demonstrates still life. I love the shallow Depth of Field, and the water droplets on the umbrella.

Description: This picture demonstrates still movement. I love the way you can see the splash, though I wish it was a little more focused.

Description: I took this picture in the morning. I really love this landscape, I love the colors of the sky and the contrast between the sky and the mountain.

  Title: soulful eyes

Location: My front yard

Description:  This is my portrait. I love the shallow depth of field, and I love how the eyes are focused.

Title: leaf and mountain

Location: front yard

Description: This is my subject and landscape picture.  I love how you can see most of the mountain but the focus is on the leaf. I love how the leafs are slightly silhouetted. The leafs are right on the rule of thirds grid.
